Need to sell one to support my buying habits. Trying to be responsible stinks. frown

Savage 99F lightweight in .308. These are light and fast handling rifles with the buttstock being drilled out for weight savings. Factory drilled for scope mounts made by several manufacturers. I normally use Weaver mounts but Leupold and others make mounts as well. This rifle still has the original sights front and rear. Original metal buttplate, 22" featherweight barrel, tang safety for right or left hand use. The wood has very nice figure for a 99. There are no cracks, rust, or extra holes and darn few marks on metal or wood, but there are one here and there. A tiny bit of blue wear but very little, most on the buttplate from standing in the safe! Overall this is a much nicer 99 than most you will see. Sorry for the blurry photos, I realize now cameras don't like being dropped. crazy Maybe I can try again tomorrow...

Non-negotiable price of $600 plus $25 to ship it. Can't take any trades right now.

Stinking broke the lens on the camera so it won't focus right now. Grrrrr.

I have not fired this particular 99, but any 99 I've ever worked with does and inch or better with the right loads. They're not fussy guns.

I was asked what year. Lever boss code reads "N", 1962. I don't think this rifle has seen much woods time, it's pretty sharp.

You can do better on the pictures Roy, that butt stock deserves them.
