I want to estimate how high the front Weaver base and low 1" ring will raise the bottom of the scope tube over the receiver at the front base.

Can anyone please tell me the combined thickness from the top arch of the front mount to the bottom of the ring when together.

If you only have the thickness of the front Weaver mount. No. 14, that would be helpful.

Thank you

I put the 2 together and measured a little over .230" combined thickness.

You can try a Redfield Jr./Leupold mount with Leupols's low rings. That should work for your needs. Don't go with the lowest ring, which I think are called something else, as you will have issues clearing the front bell over the sight. How did the TruLoks work out?

Here is the height data from the chart

Ring Size Saddle Height in inches
1" LOW 0.089
1" MEDIUM 0.169
1" HIGH 0.332
1" EXTRA HIGH 0.560
1" SEE-THRU 0.750

Chart is here Weaver ring height chart

I found High Weaver ringss and rear No. 14 and front No. 19 Weaver bases on Ebay.

You might be wondering why I think I need ring height on a 99.

The answer is that my Lyman 4X All American has very little tube between the adjustment saddle and the slope of the front bell. Because I do not want to knock out the rear leaf sight I need enough ring height so that the slope of the front bell clears the elevator of the rear sight:
