Have you seen any brass around lately?
Also, I'm on the lookout for some plinking projectiles, under .20 apiece, seen any of that? 90-110 gr. , FMJ or HP not important.

I was at BassPro yesterday and was surprised at some stuff they had that I'd not seen on the shelves in a very long time.
They had several different flavors of powder and a good bit of Starline brass. Didn't sort through the brass to see what they had, though.

Since Nosler bought SSA has it gotten worse?
Academy sports stocks 110 Vmax 6.8, I have shot about 60 of those and are restuffing them. Lucky I found 3 pounds of H322 and a pound of RL7.

If anybody is interested, Palmetto State Armory is having a sale on some Federal loaded ammo (AE and Federal) for 50-60 cents a round. (fmj 50 cents, Fusion 60 cents)
I can't get components for that, so I bought some. I'll see how the Federal brass holds up in 6.8SPC.

I don't know how the fusion will group, but I got two boxes and preliminary deer hunting accuracy check has it landing within 2 inches of my 85 grain TSX load. "Good enough"

I've had good luck with these cases though they weren't a mix of firsts and seconds. I use the 120SST and AA2200.

Yes, fusion or gold dot type! I use them for hog hunting and my 12.5" barreled sbr ar-15 im getting almost 2700 fps with factory federal xm6.8. Shot into water at 100 yards, hornady 120 sst of left, gold dot//fusion on right. The gold dots are running 12.99 a box at palmetto state arms.

damn that looks like a good bullet! My local gun store has the commercial offering for about $21.00 a box plus tax. Right now I have loaded a bunch of 85 grain TSX 6.8 bullets but I am not sure the cartridge would be able to expand one much beyond 150 yards.

Barnes has made the 85gr TSX and 95gr TTSX specifically for the 6.8. They are softer than the other Barnes bullets in .277, more like black powder bullets, so they expand at lower velocities.

I am kinda digging that 115 grain Federal Fusion load, I shot a doe with an 85 grain TSX last week, drilled both shoulders low, (scope swap in the offing), so I had to shoot her twice. Its an "OK" bullet but I want to shoot something with a 115 grain fusion to see how that works. I just bought 3 boxes from PSA. I don't think I will bother with the 90 grain federal load, I read somewhere in a test it did not penetrate well.

matchgrade, thanks. These guys also have pulled projectiles (for 6.8) occasionally. I guess a bunch of 6.8 ammo is being de-milled or something. wonder who is selling the pulldown powder? (and what it is) Sycamore

Your welcome Sycamore, I haven't done business with American Reloading but they seem to have pulled 6.8 90 gr Speer Gold Dots for sale now. They also have a commercial 4064 powder for sale, kinda pricey though. Folks on the 6.8 Forum have good luck with RE7 and this bullet. Here's another dead link https://www.americanreloading.com/en/95-8-mm-spc-bullets
