I have a Winchester Model 70 SS Featherweight in 300 Win Mag, mfg 1994, with 24" factory barrel, for which I might buy a new (or new-to-me) stock. Unfortunately I can't get to the rifle right now, but a far-from-perfect pic is below.

Does this have a "Featherweight" barrel or a "Standard"(ie 270, 30.06) barrel? I know it's not a "magnum" barrel.

Thanks to anyone who might know.

It's a FWT, the non magnums have about 1/4" of shank at the action, magnums don't. Great rifle right there! PM me if your selling your old FWT stock. Thanks!

Those have a standard sporter weight barrel with the stock opened to accept it.

I have the same rifle. It is not a featherweight barrel profile. I believe they were made in 1998 and 99.
