I've seen a couple of other forums with users advising that process, but have never done it myself.

Just run it into a FL die. It comes out a smidge short but not enough to worry about.
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

I did 300 cases, they were .050" short, but grew within 2 sizings. They will need to be squared up after sizing, all of mine came out longer on one side on the neck, even using powdered graphite INSIDE the necks didn't eliminate this. They will be fine to use as is. Cheers.

Just run it into a FL die. It comes out a smidge short but not enough to worry about. I've played around with this a little bit... I found it a lot easier if I sized the 223 brass first in a small base die with the expander ball out...

Have not tried 223 brass! But size 204 ruger brass into 17 rem. Push shoulder back first with 222 die then use 17 die and neck turn! The hornady brass dose not split necks like the rem stuff!
