I've sworn for years that I'd never sell this rifle. This is a Remmy 700 in 7mm Express (280 Remington) that has been Cerakoted in a custom "midnight bronze" finish and placed into an unbedded McMillan Hunter's EDGE. Standard 13.5" LOP including 1" Decelerator pad. Two stainless swivel studs. Rifle has a Timney trigger that is niiiiiccee. This rifle is an absolute hammer. ROUTINELY provides 0.5-0.6MOA accuracy with factory Federal Trophy Copper ammo. The first group I ever fired with this rifle and that factory ammo was 0.6" at 100 yards. The largest group I've ever fired with this rifle/ammo is 0.87"at 100 yards and I've fired sub-1" groups at 200 yards. I've saved a few of these targets and will gladly send them with the rifle. I'll also include three boxes of the Trophy Copper ammo the rifle likes so well.

That's the good. The bad is purely cosmetic. Before the rifle was Cerakoted, the sight holes were filled in. When the Cerakote applicator prepped the metal for finish, the filler in those holes was disturbed somewhat. The very front hole was almost cleaned out. I stuck a Remington filler screw in there to plug the hole and went forth shooting as described above. Small cosmetic issue, as stated, but want to disclose that fully. You can see all of this clearly in the pics below.

If you want a no-BS, no-hassle, no-time-wasting, and no-risk shooter, this is it. $1750 + $25 shipping.

Scope not included. IF the rings have been lapped to this receiver, I'll throw them in for free. If not, I'm keeping them. Thanks for looking.

Really nice color combination on the rifle. Do you remember the stock colors? GLWYS.

Did the Timney trigger shoe come straightened like that, or did you bend it into that shape? I want one of those!

Timney offers the straight shoe trigger. Had one in a heavy 6.5x47L and it was the tits.

NICE rig GT...

Yep. It's a real Timney. I didn't straighten it with a torch in the garage. grin

Will be glad to swap the straight-shoe Timney for a curved-shoe Timney if the buyer likes that better.

Barrel contour a standard sporter?
Safety lock the bolt down?

This is a hard one to pass up!

Correct, it is a sporter contour. The safety DID lock the bolt until I swapped the trigger out with the Timney. I can always put the bolt-locking safety/trigger back in if you'd like. I'm pretty sure I still have a couple under the bench. Those are really my favorites, too. Could even knock $50 off in that configuration.

It's a 50/50 mix of burnt bronze and graphite black. Came out awesome and looks even better in person.

Thanks. These are really pretty quick and dirty compared to what I like to do. Didn't have much time, unfortunately. It's hunting season! grin

It will sell, but a cerakoted factory 700 in a McMillan is a $800-$900 rifle. That's the problem right there.
