Busch Light...
Your shot at ever becoming a Judge Associate in Training just went out the window..... Brian....see my earlier post. Your appointment was by no means secure. If you have issues with my decision, we may have to discuss it mano a mano at the pig hunt...over some Becky Creek ( if the bribes go well.... ) The problem is that brown liquor makes me puke. You don't want that, it could get ugly. Vodka works though.

I think that can be arranged. ....... Or maybe some of that homemade see-thru whiskey some of those southern boys brought....

It was the angle needed to drive it into his throat. He was below me. It's not where in goes in that counts When shooting 80 pound deer, ones takes into consideration how much meat can be wasted by less practical shots. Deadlier than the "Texas heart shot"... The " Carolina tonsil shot".

I carried a bottle of Becky to the TN Hog Hunt one year. I opened the bottle in the disciplinary barracks, and it was empty in 15 minutes I took 3 bottle next year, and they vanished. Last time I carried 4 bottles and a handle. That seemed to be a bit much, but at least we didn't run out If I remember correctly, there was a lot left last year. The un-named clear liquid probably did put a dent in Becky demand. Which simply meant I got to take more home. Which is also okay "carolina tonsil shot"

Too bad me and the wife both punched our tags in general season or i probably would have this locked up in my aunts yard today. Crappy picture but at 10' one could bately make out a hard horn button. Pretty sure it's B&C score is sub 1".

He looks like he wants to drag race you or something.

He was eating the bushes for an hour then decided to have a stare down leaving the driveway.
Mighta weighed 45-50 #'s on the hoof.
Last i knew one needed visible hard antler to enter and i cant imagine them coming much smaller.
Too many years of shooting quality deer so my dink eye is lacking though.

Here's the damage from the Rage 2. You could let the busted ones walk and be bigger next year like we do all the time... busted and not a trash buck to start with they get a pass.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Too many years of shooting quality deer Your palate must be cleansed. It is an acquired taste, and it make take some time (and Blanton's) to hone your eye. You have the weight class right, though. That thing is a Peterbilt in a world of Smartcars in the antler department. (best Foghorn Leghorn) Boy, them antlers is too big, I say, way too big.

I pass'em up a lot. No worries though, there's some more biggies hangin around. Plus I can get 3 more. I never shoot anything with less than 6 points unless I'm in a frustrated mood. This might have been one of those situations. This one walked into it. It was a perfect set-up and wanted to take the shot. I'm trying to accumulate some meat to get some Berger and Hot Italian Sausage made.

Obviously photoshopped I still think he wants to drag race. Look at his ears, he's got his game face on.

While its always fun to shoot big deer, these little ones are like veal. I am happy already with this season as I have a spike in the freezer my buddy shot for me.
If i see another little one this weekend, it is going down, milk still on its chin or not!

OK, I know this is far from a contender, but it ain't a big buck, either. Well, maybe to the DAT crowd. Shot at 0800 this morning, 25 yard shot with a Remington 700 ADL in the mighty .243, 95 grain BT. It did a 60 yard death run and the work began. This may take a little Blanton's to fix. Or maybe we can get that associate judge fellow to stage a coup. Light beer is cheaper and I have a hard time shipping Blanton's off. I may be smoking one for that comment, though. And, I'll thank everybody ahead of time for the kind comments on the camera skill. Can't everybody consistently take pictures that bad, but I have it down pat! At least I put his tongue back in.....

Vic and elks: Nice entries but you both know they are wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too big!
elks: yours has that "shot with a .270" look.......which adds an arbitrary 270 centimeters to the overall score...putting it wayyyy out of contention.
Sheesh, I can't believe these type entries just show up. No Blantons. No Becky. Just the entry....

You must be getting real old Ingwe. Posted that pic in the VBTE and wrote that the buck was killed with a Winchester Featherweight 7x57 and a old 4x Weaver. Even wrote that I used a 160 gr Sierra GK at the whopping range of 110 yds.
