Beginner question, I have a DPMS Oracle with a detachable carry handle that fits the rail nice and snug, I pulled the handle off the oracle and tried to fit it on a bushmaster. My carry handle that fit on the oracle is loose and sloppy on the bushmaster. What's up, are there different size of rails? I did notice that the bushmaster rail was numbered with "T" numbers. Please educate me. Thanks.

There's not SUPPOSED to be a difference, and there's not according to the "parts is parts" crowd.
But if you have a budget carry handle trying to fit two different budget uppers, you're going to get problems like this.
your flippant remarks which you so adeptly sling

Thanks Bluedreaux, I rally did not think that there should be any difference. The carry handle has been used on several different ARs without problems until I placed it in the bushmaster.

Weaver rails are wider and some companies use a Weaver/Picatinny rail. I had a Colt/Diemaco upper once and tried to use Leupold MK4 rings but they wouldn't fit. Leupold said they were for Weaver type uppers.

The rail on the bushmaster was narrower causing the carry handle to have a lot of side to side movement.
