A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”

Silver VX-3 with B&C reticle on a Montana. The scope is for sale, BTW. A Vari-X-III on a Browning Micro

Likely the only pic with one as I really dislike the 2.5-8x, though it do fit between the ears.

It really is pretty much the perfect scope for my hunting.

Sorry, no photos but I can try to work on it. I have several of them on rifles and love them. I have one on a CZ 527 in 7.62x39, One on a Kimber 7mm-08, one on a Ruger #1AH 25-06, and a MK4 2.5-8 on an AR15 I use at work. I might have another one but can't think of on what at this moment.
Like I said, great, clear, reliable scopes with plenty of power for 99% of shooting. The rage these days is huge scopes but most people can't put them to good use anyway. If I can shoot deer and elk out to 600 yards on 8 power, I will rarely need more. The scopes short and light and just look good and work well when trying to keep weight down. You can't go wrong with one.

I kind of like this one. Mini-me with his 243 youth and 2.5-8x36. Although he now likes the reticle on the SWFA 6x MQ on the AR, so his rifle might get a new scope...

Rem 700 BDL in 7mm Mag. Talley low steel rings and a gloss Leupold. Perfect combo for this rifle. Bob

13 pages and counting, that's a popular scope. Even the fellows who don't like the scope seem to have nice picts.
