Are The New Marbles knives with the Rubber/Kraton handles any good? Price is right... Ideal,Woodcraft,Fieldcraft... They say they're USA Made,1095 Carbon steel. Any of you fella's got em? Thanks!

For the money there fine users. They get a bad rap because the old marbles are so much better, be it when Webster Marbles was running the place or in the latter years when Mike Stewart was.
When they went off shore the die hard Marbles guys were done with the new knives.
I would not want to bet my life on one but wouldn't be afraid to carry one deer hunting.

They lie... I looked at them at smokey mountain knife works which is about 40 minutes from my house and they all said made in china.

If they came In the Marbles "Bobcat" box they are more then likely good knives. Some of the Kraton handled knives did come in these boxes. I think they stopped using these boxes when Mike Stewart left in/around 1999-2000.

If they say USA on them, then they are not "new", nor close.
They came in the Bobcat boxes, as well as the latter 2 boxes after that. I have 2 here that will shred paper as cleanly as you please.
The Chinese ones are $hit......
