Anybody have problems when spraying the clearcoat? I tried the krylon clear/matte sprayed over krylon camo and it melted the damn paint. Luckily I did a test spray before hitting the whole gun.

that's because you sprayed it too thick. Think 2-4 light coats instead of one big one.....

Actually I just did a very light, quick spray and the paint separated. I'm wondering if it was just the clear I used. Also, how long should you wait to hit it with the clear? Maybe I did it too soon after painting. Waited about an hour or so.

then I don't know..... I've clearcoated after an hour in the sun, and never a problem with light coats.

Try to match name brands if at all possible
IE.....Krylon on Krylon
Rustolium on same.....get it?

Hobby Lobby doesn't cary black in Missouri
I ordered mine from a local hardware store but had to buy a case....6 cans

Webbing paint is also available at Michaels Craft store. I think they're primarily west coast, but they may ship.
