Does anybody know anything about the elite 3500s? Looking at a 2-7x33 for a backup lightweight but I'm not familiar with them. Where are they made...how's the service etc. I'm also considering a vx1...how do they compare?

I've used Bushnell Elites since they were badged Bausch and Lomb. I consider them to be a true optical value. I currently have 2-7x33 in the 3000, 3200, and the plain Elite that was the model just prior to the 3500.

I would not hesitate to buy a 3500 if I needed it. Their service is not as good as Leupold, but you aren't paying for the name and service attached to it when you buy the scope either.
