Hey guys, I have a 24" Rem 700 338wm in a B&C Alaskan and I'm not all that happy with the stock. I'm looking to replace the B&C with a McMillan. Just not sure what would work best for me. Thinking of going with the McMillan Hunter. What would you guys go with?

It would either be the McMillan Hunter or a Classic. Bottom metal would probably decide it for me. BDL or DM would go in the Hunter, ADL in the Classic. Of course either stock can be inletted for either BM, I've got them both ways, but their natural lines lend themselves as I suggested IMO.

I'm going to keep the BDL setup, leaning towards the Hunter. I've had the Classic in the past and didn't care for the sloping stock on it.

That's interesting, I didn't know about that one. Looking into this one more, thanks Crow!

I am liking the McMillan Hunter on my new 8x68s build, however, can't go wrong with a Classic.
