Sorry for your loss. No doubt a good man as it shows with his son. GW

I lost both my folks within a short period of time about six years ago. My sincerest sympathies, loosing a parent is tough. But take peace in knowing his passing was gentle and that he will live on with you but just in a different way.

Sorry to read that Jim.

As you know, I just recently lost my father as well. We all understand that this is all just part of life but it doesn't make it any easier.

I was relieved to read that he went peacefully. The opposite is pure hell.

I hope you recover from this loss quickly so you can again recognize the many blessings that you still have in your life.

Your friend,
Jeff

Jim, sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. Fishing, hunting, and drag racing. What do they have in common? They tend to be activities that go from father to son. My Dad like to fish, but he never was able to go off shore like I do now. We hunted together a lot. It kept us close. Friends that never had something to tie them with their Dad's don't know what it's like to have a father that is also your friend. If you ever find yourself down around Maryland look me up. We can run out to the Canyons and dedicate a day of fishing to our Dad's. The Canyons are about 70 miles off shore where the big fish live. My prayers are with you, Joe.

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.

Thanks guys for all of your kind words and sympathy and prayers. It means a lot to me.

Although I have not met most of you in person, but it feels like family here, for which I am very grateful.

I am sad for you and yours. Hopefully the holiday season will help buffer the loss. I am glad it was a peaceful passing. Thinking of you. Thanks for being my friend. John
