Mark messaged me yesterday. I had given him a chance to explain himself, and what he said more of the same bullschidt. I asked him why no public record, in newspaper or otherwise is available regarding this alleged murder and he never answered the question. He wanted my phone number to send me pictures of his father after the attack, which I found rather macabre. The last thing I want this swindler to have is my phone number. I'm not one to normally do this...but under the circumstances... campfire pm Link no workie Deleted.... I asked for the perps name...was told ..."I am being told not to disclose a name, as there are two prime suspects who live at the building. The investigation is continuing." ...I replied that...."I thought you posted that a suspect had been arrested?" He replied..."One has, to the best of my knowledge. The discovery of all of this has not been my first priority on my whirlwind trip down and back. My siblings who live down there and who are the POA's and Successor trustee are keeping me out of the loop here a bit regarding the investigation to prevent me from excorsizing the kind of rebuke and revenge that I would be so likely to mete out if I knew for certain that ________________ did this deed. They are doing their best to keep ME out of prison for severely beating - likely unto death - a man who is merely a suspect until the courts find him guilty or not. As I proccess thier dire warnings, I have decided to let the system and courts play this one out, for now." I've met Mark a couple times....been to his dads place a few times & met some of his childhood friends...they all seemed like decent people to me...and all the deals I've done with him have been fair & square...I never read all of the notorious threads, but did read bits & pieces back when they were originally posted...that said...I'm still sitting here shaking my head in disbelief... Bizarre is a mild description of what I've learned about him in this thread...

WOW, if you read Ms. Lynn's post, he went to a Gunshow in Roseville on Saturday. Gee, what are the odds... 105% I couldn't read that whole eulogy, although, it did look like he's been working on it for a while.... I was wondering if he just reworked someone else writings. It would be a lot less work.

To mention God's name in something where the ulterior motive is clearly not God's message, is the very definition of "Thou shalt not take the Lord's name in vain." BINGO! There have been calls for Christians to come out and make a stand. I'll do that now. Mark had me fooled for a long time then my wife and I met him when he came to our place at a get together. My wife who is spiritually sensitive spotted him right off. I listened to her and since she has a long history of being spot on accurate I shut up about Mark but I cringed every time I read where he had pulled one of his stunts. I am done with that. He knows the right sayings and words but the Bible says we will be known by out fruit and I see his fruit being rotten and his tree as being bare. I will go on to add there have been others on the Fire who profess Christ and then do more harm flouting their faith than a hundred real Christians could do to repair. I am embarrassed by their words and actions too. Mark needs professional help. I doubt he will seek it or get it. I believe judgement day will be tough and I will be doing good just answering for my own deeds, I would in no way want to be in Mark's shoes.

So, the family is worried that if they tell him the name he will go down to the County Corrections Facility and murder they guy while he's in custody?? But he father was murdered, and he doesn't even care by who? I understand that people process grief differently, but the idea he's so disinterested that he doesn't care who, while at the same time carrying such murderous thought that he would break into county to get the guy just doesn't track. But is there anything about this story that does?

Mark has had life events that many of us will only dream about. It's sad to see someone that has had the opportunity to experience the things he has pictures of get so twisted up. I hope he gets the help he needs before anyone falls victim to the scams.
I would love to see Africa and to hunt the new Zealand mountains, but I am just content with being able to tell the truth most of the time and help others when I can. Nothing fancy about being normal, you may want to give it a shot mark. That is why I like you my friend.

Yes, the guy with the multiplex ranch home and multiple appartment units didn't have enough money to pay funeral expenses. Kinda like the disabled guy with huge expenses, who was buying/building guns and motorcycles, all while begging for money to pay bills. In my world when people are broke the toys are sold, usually too cheap. EVERYTHING I own is for sale, except my integrity. Apparently with some NOTHING is for sale except their integrity. Shameful stuff, ain't it? Worse that just shameful.

I have been following the exploits of SM for years, always amazes me how easy it is for people to get sucked in. I truely think his exploits would be good for a case study on the graduate level in psychology.
You can pull up the public documents if one is of such a mind, or just look on this site, as they have been linked many times.
There are several behavioral charactistics that are easy to spot.
but mostly i think of a cousin i fired about ten years ago, i grew up with him.. I won't go into the details but i think he literally has the mark of the devil on him, as he has cheated, stole, lied, hurt others all his life. On the other hand he has a really good sister that i am fond of.
She said i needed to forgive him, she wanted us all together in heaven. I told her I know for a fact he has cheated you, and continues time and time again this behavior. Then he prays to God for forgiveness. And she said he is forgiven.
My comment was he continues to do the same behavior how can he be forgiven, you left the part out about go forth and sin no more. I believe in personal redemption, and forgiveness of sin, but not when you continue to do the same stuff time and time again. With that, you are a fool if you allow it to continue.
I saw the errant cousin at a funeral a week or so ago, he was laughing and snickering during the memorial at the v.a. ceremony at the gravesite. Some do have the mark of the devil as i like to call it. I also think they don't have certain things in them, such as compassion.

I did, and I also spoke with the lead floor nurse. He truly did have surgery, kidney surgery, she was overwhelming polite, very receptive to my questions, and quite liberal with her answers.
Gotta wonder if that nurse has heard of HIPAA. They could lose their job for that information release unless it was authorized by the patient.
