We use an eco fan on the stove to move the air/heat around the tent. You would be amazed at how such a little fan makes such a big difference. Runs on heat from stove no batteries needed.

I am really wanting a flatbed/ATV hauler that is the exact size of a wall tent that is manufactured to fit it. that would be the perfect mobile western hunting rig.

just my .02 smile

They're really not that tough to move around. I can have it all set up with the wood stove in about an hour I'd say. Of course a second set of hands helps. I'm not sure a platform would do much for you unless you planned to keep it in place for an extended amount of time.

the flatbed would be for gear, ATV, freezer, generator and hauling game home. it would keep it all in one spot for multiple weekend excursions and provide a good elevated floor to keep the tent dry during periods of high snow fall. I'm thinking elk/antelope/deer hunting in wyoming. saw one like it at camp this year one of the guys had it, I really really liked it.

Merry Christmas Stan!!

Ryan and Yetti,

There is a guy in St. Croix Falls, MN that makes those. They're pretty cool but you can't haul anything in the trailer. It's a cool concept for sure!

Meeting up with Tom and Mini Man, Jack tomorrow for breakfast. Time to catch up on things and tell some lies from deer season!

Tom, Mini-Man and I met up for breakfast this morning and laid waste to some gigantic omelettes and french toast. It was good to see these characters. Camp Chickenbuck was represented as I wore my blaze orange Chickenbuck T-shirt.

Dave-do you have any plans for another run of Chickenbuckwear? I want some stuff if you do.

Merry Christmas everyone!

May the wind be in your face, the sun at your back, and a nice buck coming down the trail.

Meeting GG this morning was great. We had a fantastic meal and left full. It was flat out the best I let I've ever had.

What Jeff left out was the he gave us a Christmas present. Jeff handed over a long skinny box with Savage Arms on it. Inside the box was a stainless steel Savage Axis in .243 Winchester. It also was equipped with ss rings and a cabelas pine River scope. This baby is sweet!

It WILL get used, I can tell you that!

Thank you again Jeff!

We've actually been talking about it this fall/winter.

It was good talking to ya Ryan! I'm definitely interested! I love that country out there and the chance to hunt it would be so awesome!

Merry Christmas Everybody!

Got an early Christmas present yesterday, Triaditions flintlock 50 cal. Seasons starts this Saturday for flintlock muzzy in PA. Gone to try and get ready to hunt for part of the season.

Dave would love some Chickenbuck clothing.

Went pheasant hunting last weekend and had a really big 10 pointer run right up to me. Stood there for a long time looking at my Dad. Then turned and trotted by me. Really cool, until I saw his broken back leg. Going to try and get him with the bow. Man, I feel bad for him. This is not a place we have ever deer hunted. Not much for trees. Hopefully we can stick him with an arrow to save him a bad winter/bad encounter with coyotes.

Merry Christmas everyone in case I don't get on here for awhile!
