So was the man who died and the man named in the harassment case one and the same? If so how is that relevant to the OP?
Given the OPs history of lying, cheating, conning, and fraud... Most figure it out.
Still awaiting the "point" you claim to be proving, though I doubt you have one.
That you are still not even looking at Mark's history is also rather telling.

You forgot bankruptcy fraud, likely tax fraud, solicitation of felony firearm transfers (passing off a C&R as an O1, interstate sales/ receipt of handguns without going through an FFL, violations of Washington state firearms laws, etc.), and several court cases in Walla Walla for failure to pay debts owed. Likely more than that, too.

Oh, and an ass shot bear that then someone else had to kill, and failure to follow game laws on that debacle.

In the interest of fairness (not to Safariman, who's been outed), but to his father, I have seen a "Consent Order" like that (although not in a federal court), that a friend had to sign to avoid thousands in attorney fees.
He had a rental property open.
It was a walk-up, no steps.
He took out an ad in the paper which had the usual terms, but he added the phrase: "No steps, perfect for an older person."
The paper tried to warn him but he wouldn't listen.
Prosecuted by some City look-busy EEO department, I believe, for discrimination, preferring older people.
Nobody complained, apparently these a$$holes are paid to read the classifieds to drum up business.
Had to hire an attorney. Then he had a choice.
Pay attorney at least $5K, and probably lose anyway; or
Sign a "Consent Order" never to do that again, and get (hello USSR) *retraining* to prevent future occurrences.
He actually had to attend classes, taught by the SAME A$$HOLES AT THE CITY THAT PROSECUTED HIM. The gist of the classes was: Next time let the paper write the ad, idiot.
So, it *may* be that economic reasons, rather than facts, resulted in a settlement.
Posted out of courtesy for a guy I didn't know that can't defend himself.
And no, SAFARIMAN, I'm not takin up for you, A$$HOLE, SO DON'T PM me askin for $.

Yes....It's relevant because Mark made it relevant in posting what a saint his father was...(reread the op)...the entire op was nothing short of a lie...other than the fact his father died...

I've read this thread with great interest since it was posted.
I have never directly talked to SM in any regard so I think I can look at it a bit objectively.
First, what son who isn't a complete asshat wouldn't want to "saintify" his father immediately after an untimely death
and given the unexpected and immediacy of the death, I also believe its easier (although though not entirely rational) to suspect foul play.
My wife's father died unexpectedly several years ago and one of her sisters was convinced, his devoted wife who more or less worshiped this man poisoned him. It came out of left field and it was motivated by the shock and grief she was experiencing. Calmer heads prevailed and she realized how off the reservation her thought processes were.
It would seem to me given the history of SM's rather colorful life - when drama doesn't come naturally, its created artificially - that perhaps he lacks those calmer heads prevailing in his life to keep him within the lanes.
Given SM's history here, as soon as I read the thread title, I strongly suspected this thread would eventually go in this direction - knowing that after a day or so of internet digging by forum members, the online information most likely wouldn't match the narrative provided in the OP.

have you paid your dues, can you moan the blues, can you bend them guitar strings
Did you [not] also read his Facebook post? Which told a completely different tale?
no, I'm not *that* interested - and to be honest, I've been hit or miss with reading the posts on this thread after it got to about 20 pages - even though its very entertaining, I have a hard time staying in the weeds when there is this much detail - especially as this has happened while I am on extended vacation
