Cherries are blooming here. Supposed to be in the 20s soon.
No, winter isn't over. Traditionally, some of the coldest temps and heaviest winter weather comes in late January through mid/ late March. Look at a calendar and pay attention.
Not shocked that Ringman can't figure that out, though.
America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

The whole acre front yard is covered with fresh grass. I'm delighted. How is this happening when it was 28 degrees overnight?

Apply the covering, and let GOD do what HE does. I have brought in many loads of wood chips at my place. Good stuff for sure.

In the land of 10,000 lakes. My son and his wife, Our daughter, and son in law (three Grandkids between all)made it up to our home to celebrate New Years. All three generations headed out fishing on wheelers this morning to the Crappie hole. We did just okay nothing outstanding. We went back to the house, got a fire going in the stove in the pole barn, cleaned 14 crappies. The adults enjoyed a few bloody marys. The kids enjoyed hot chocolate. My most enjoyable part was having three generations out on the ice fishing. I'm very proud of my family.
