Does anyone know where to find one? It doesn't have to be in perfect condition. All I'm finding online is factory new replacements and are a little expensive for what I'm looking for. Any help is appreciated!

There's a stock and forend set that has been refinished on ebay for $150 buyitnow. They don't appear to have been over sanded or reshaped. I don't know what your budget is but that is likely a good bit cheaper than a brand new one from Browning.

Thank you. Not sure what Browning charges but may check with them Monday just to see. Trying to go as cheap as I can but everything I'm finding so far is pretty expensive. The BL22 I have was my godfathers and he has a bad right eye. So he took a rasp to the butt stock in order for him to shoot right handed but with his left eye...so needless to say the butt stock on it now is ruined. I shot it a lot when I was little so I wanting to get it fixed up nice and get back to shooting it.

Good luck with your "project!"

I'm not keen on leverguns, but the BL22 has always impressed me with several features ..... short lever stroke, the way the hammer won't discharge if it slips from a your shooter's thumb, and similar thought that went into the design of the magazine cap that "locks" e very time at every angle when being closed on a full magazine tube ..... etc, etc.

Also DEFINIELY "be sure to keep that rasp-ruined stock set of your granddad's!" Its as much a part of being an heirloom as the whole gun!

Don't put off getting that eBay stock set if that's what you looking to find. cool

Thank you! According to Browning's parts list, they list a grade I gloss fore end at $51.50 and a grade I gloss butt stock at $117. So I'm going to call them tomorrow and make sure that is current and see what other costs there might be along with that. If they are only charging $170 for brand new wood, I might go that route instead of the refinished set on Ebay.
