We seem to have a few now at the deer lease. One of my buds managed to drop a sow, leaving her brood as orphans. She weighed 125#. we loaded it into the hitch carrier of my Jeep. ![[Linked Image]](http://i712.photobucket.com/albums/ww127/tex_n_cal/20160101_091531_zpsepcyqss5.jpeg) and I found the perfect steak rub for Dan ![[Linked Image]](http://i712.photobucket.com/albums/ww127/tex_n_cal/20160102_230520_zpsjtdgwjto.jpeg)  Finally did shoot a doe with the 7.62x39. It worked satisfactorily, though I want to test it some more.

at the very least, 110 TTSX out of my .300 Blackout AI at 2600 fps are hell on pigs.
A word on that .300 Blackout AI - it is a .308 Winchester loaded with fast powder in a 12" barrel.

considering how loud a 16" .308 is, I think I'll pass on a 12"  But I could bring my Ultralight .300 Roy for Bobby to use...

its gots itself one of those newfangled barkdampening-dohickies on the muzzle.
36" fully suppressed - 110 gr. TTSX @ 2600 fps. Ugly as the night, but works and well.
