Is there a difference in the measurement between the guard screws of the Win. m70 pre & post 64 2 piece bottom metal?

That's between the rear guard screw and the front action screw.

He specifically mentioned just the guard screw holes. I don't have a pre-64 to measure and compare with a post-'64.

I do not think so for the guard itself, I do know the post 64 guard is wider...

Too close for irons, switching to scope...

I just measured my pre-64 at 3.15" between the guard screws, if that helps...

Thanks guys, the measurements are exactly what I needed. I have the pre 64 & as I am reading the 1/8" difference is between the front guard screw & front action screw.

I believe the 1/8" difference in the 7-1/2 vs. 7-5/8 is between the front action screw and rear guard screw as Redneck posted above. I know that is the case on my pre-64 vs. post-64.
