My semi custom 270 that I am working on was to be cerakoted stainless to go into an olive stock... however I really kind of liking the look of graphite black, thinking it would go good with a dark olive stock.
Anyone out that have a graphite black or other shade of black/dark to share?

I have a bunch in graphite black and like them. Pretty close to Leupold matte in color

Graphite black metal, wood stock. I had an olive stock and didn't care for the color, but that doesn't mean you wouldn't like it.

The olive green McMillan uses goes great with graphite black Cerakote IMHO. Here is one I had built but sold it since - it shows the combo you mentioned. [ 1.jpg[/IMG][/URL]

Nice black color.
Midnight blue, looks most like blueing though, if you wanted that look.

Here are a couple in different lightings. There are differences in the sheen of the coatings. These were done by 2 different smiths. The Tikka has a little more of a shine on it,the Remington is more matte. Variations in hardener I figure.
