The swamp is drained and the alligators are gone. See my book post for details.
Now I can add my two cents worth to this post. These photos have been posted before but I'll repeat them for the new guys or any of the old guys who've already forgotten them.

Wyo1895,

Great pictures. We have similar tastes when it comes to hunting tools. The only thing I have taken with a 22hp is a turkey. I hope to change that someday. Getting that speed goat with one was awesome. Those other two boom sticks sure did load you up with some fine eating wapiti.

Great job.

Writes a book about Savages and successfully uses them. Perfect.

No kills in 2016 yet, unless you count a wee bit of Fireball while I fondled some Savages last night. grin

Skunked for the second year in a row with the 99T in .300sav. But I did manage this ruffed grouse with the model 24 in .22mag over 20gauge.

Cool bird and nice pic.

I have a model 24 as well, but mine is 22 Mag over 410.

Actually the one hanging off the boom on the back of the pickup is a little tough. She was big and old and dressed out to 142#'s. But she was no match for the SRC 303 with a neck shot at 130 yards.
