Any H&R type rifle, any condition OK as long as bore/rifling and lock n trigger is good/repairable. Preferably in .308, .30/06, .25/06, .270, .243. Any help much appreciated even if just barrel and action/no stock! Need to try and hunt this year, been long enough, fill the freezer! I am getting back in slow and simple and inexpensive as possible, hence the single shots and common cals for reloading (buying all that equip again too). Hoping this will get a passion back up n swinging. The closer to me the better to keep costs down, can drive a couple 4 hrs no prob. Budget is around 250 tops. Thank you all!!!

Get a caliber you can get a Lee Loader for and you'll be good to go. They make very straight ammo. If you find one in 22-250 I'll donate the Lee Loader. Don't underestimate the 22-250 for a deer cartridge. powdr

What part of Oklahoma you in? I'm in southeast corner, if your close by I have an extra press you can barrow and probably the dies. Possibly a gun to buy, not a single shot but it's a 308.
