I have tried two different sets of Burris Signature Zee rings on Warne bases nr S902 and 876M for Remington 700,but they are too tight. I tried this way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiTDc5QuP80 Are Warne Maxima bases bigger than other Weaver type bases?

I have Warne steel bases with Burris Zee rings on a few rifles and have never had an issue.

A little snug but no issue here on multiple rifles.

I use the Warne bases on all of my Remington 700's and they have not been too big/wide for the Burris Signature Zee rings. Did you have the rings on another base before you tried the Warne bases? I had a problem one time when I used the Burris adapter for the Ruger 77 which allows you to use a Weaver style ring. The base is a bit narrower and when I tightened the rings to the base it took more effort to do so. I removed the rings later and I could not fit them on a regular base without spreading the ring apart.

Yes, use a screwdriver in the slot cut in the ring to spread it a little.

All zee rings need to be spread a bit.

I just put a set on Warne bases this fall again, and had to spread the rings to get them on.

I have this set up on my .338 Win Mag and it has held point of impact (POI) with unbelievable inadvertent abuse.I shipped my rifle ahead before a pack in elk hunt with no POI change. During the hunt my rifle slipped out of the scabbard and fell to the ground no POI change and after shipping the rifle back home it held POI. I'm a believer in this set up!

I changed to Weaver steel bases; problem solved. I also ptried other bases and had no problem, only with the Warne Maxim bases.
