I would like to start using my Spanish SXS for water fowl again. For sure needs a new recoil pad and I would like to increase the length of pull to make it about the same as my 870. The recoil is hammering me a lot more than it used to. The original pad is shot. I added a slip on pad to test it and that's not gonna work. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.
I like the 100 Straight Terminator pads too, they come in brown and black and in four different thicknesses. Get yourself a grinding fixture if you don't have one already.

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping there was a fairly simple solution. I've had the shotgun for about 45 years. I'll have to look into a grinding fixture, but I have a shop full of bench machines, grinders etc.
