We were indeed damn lucky no one was hurt in that storm. Two big trees falling into camp could have been bad.

The Docs. bag had the correct kind of drugs to help keep the pain down on the two hour drive back to town by Roger. That's what the Becky's for, but I do take your point.

BTW, I didn't take snake chaps last year, and won't this year. If I get unlucky, one of you guys is going to do the cowboy thing.

Very true Pat. I was under the big blue tarp at the time. As it fell and started hitting me in the head, I just ran for Eds porch. with the tree on it. I did do one good thing, I put the food that was set out ready to eat under the tables in someones big plastic containers. We did get a meal later. I just didn't want to eat rained on brisket.

Well, we got lawyers and one doc on the trip. Reckon I'll bring plenty of power tools, just in case of any emergency. This suggests an fine anthem for this years expedition. I actually have two bottles of decent shampagney My, how far we've fallen... From Rebecca Creek, to shampagney... I suppose we'll give up the fire-grilled shrimp & jalapeno poppers, for eggs benedict & salmon croquettes.  FC Enchanted Rock vodka will be in the Mary's.
