I lived in southeastern Pa. for almost 20 years, I like shoo fly pie. Pecan or most any fruit filled pie is a close second.

A big hunk of German Chocolate cake is good too.

All of which are really bad for my blood sugar but...

Miss Lynn,

Two desserts this man can't resist:

1) apple pie with lots of cinnamon, and a slice of aged cheddar cheese

2) Bananas Foster. Anything you set on fire before you eat it is manly. grin

Can't imagine ascribing sexuality to food, unless you're talking doe/buck.

My favorites:
Apple pie
Cinnamon rolls
Angel food cake
Ice cream
Anything with caramel
Choc chip cookies
Creme brûlée
Not a huge cake person, but dbl choc and caramel cake rocks.
Butterscotch pudding

Dinner was changed last night as we did not quite make it out the door to the restaurant, or anywhere else, so we had late, late night omelets with a side of bacon and sourdough toast. Dessert for my guest was apple pie with vanilla bean ice cream as he had never tried the two together, and I had just the vanilla bean ice cream.

I noticed that pie still has the thumbs up by most men here, not surprising though, I think just about any kind of pie fills the spot smile

Well, it is past lunch time, time to have breakfast.

I hope you all have a wonderful day smile

Lynn

About the only dessert I really like is a good pumpkin pie. You can have the rest and it won't bother me in the least. To tell the truth I can't remember the last time I had dessert, it has never been a thing I eat since I'm not much for sweets of any kind.

Bah! This is a manly dessert!

It's got it all. Notes of vanilla, cocoa, spice, and being on the north-side of 130 proof, it'll put hair on your chest. Fantastic stuff!

The last 3 not so good. This latest batch is really close to being worthy of the George Stagg name. It's right there.

I like it a whole lot!

A manly man can eat Creme Brûlée' for dessert.

And he would punish you for using your, instead of the proper 'you're' grin

And with luck, perhaps the two could be combined..... whistle
