How many of you have these? The ones that always worry about how other people hunt, how many everyone kills (does and bucks), and whether everyone is doing right or wrong. In the meanwhile not doing right themselves. How do you handle these people?

Only hunted with an idiot one time. Deer season's too short to put up with dyckheads.

Depends how good the hunting is and if he owns the land. Valid point, and I'll add one more. It depends on how good of a camp cook he is.

We have one of those, we always have to tell him where we hunt and what we see, we usually lie.
Whatever a 7x57 can do a 270 can do better.
True fair chase is you in the woods buttnaked with nothing but your finger nails and teeth.

How do you handle these people? Post a thread about them on the internet.

Only one guy comes to mind for me. He's an old guy too, like a great grandpa now. But he's always been a [bleep] IMO.
Hypocrite, preaches one thing, practices another.
This A-hole has ALWAYS been famous for shooting everything and anything that crosses his path, fawns, does, spikes, what ever. And then he'll have someone else drag it back to camp for him and it will hang on the pole with no tag until he can sweet talk someone into hanging their tag on it so he can keep hunting. It's usually a kid that he talks into tagging his does, fawns and spikes. His own damn grandkids! Can you believe that? He should be taking them out hunting and if anything he should be tagging deer for them so he can take them out again.
I can't stand that guy. I heard from his camp that one night he had an accidental discharge while trying to unload his rifle out on the porch after dark.
I guess that little incident kept his tail down and kept his freaking hateful yap shut for a few days.
Something clever here.

It just gets aggravating at times. I've been in several clubs and it never fails that there's one or two in every one.

A couple of the Older Generation I grew up hunting with were like this. Those years game was scarce and no one really had much so it took a lot just to get to camp and petty jealousies abound. I loved them all, but they are gone now. It made pulling in new blood, even tho it was all family, very difficult.
These days I am the last of my generation and I am blessed with 7 younger cousins to share camp with. All good people...thoughtful towards others..fun loving...and they even look after the old guy. I didn't know growing up it could be this good....wish I had more time to enjoy it!
We eat organic in our house, we just have to shoot and gut it first.....

Is that why you haven't asked me back?
