Adding the mailing address for ordering books on this thread would likely be a good idea. Have to order mine soon as Canadian dollar is in freefall ... a $65 US International money order will be over $100 CAN with exchange and fees.

I have no idea when I'll have books to send out to people who have prepaid. If anyone who has prepaid wants their money back PM me.

Some of us are patiently waiting on some newly made copies of Stith mounts from a member here that were ordered (and paid for) many years ago... That's why you never pre-pay for a product not even made yet.

Got the pics of a couple of pages of the book. They sent it JPG so I had to print and photograph it in order to get it on photo bucket. The 1895 carbine in the photos is Fug's. I hate for them to hold tables for me to the last minute and then I cancel because I don't have books. They'll probably be stuck with empty tables that way. I think I'd better make a decision in the next few days since I don't think I'll know anything from my publisher before late April if then. David

Look under Savage 99 in the search engine. The later two are offering it at a discount for pre-orders. The book will hopefully be available some time in May. Saddlering, I can't specially remember the engraved SRC. My mind got a little boggled by the number of Savages when I was at Fug's house. The pic of the four receivers in the 1895 receiver parts post is an example of the kind of comparison photos that appear in the book. David
