What finish do these grips looks best with? I like them all actually. Left side top to bottom: NICKEL 29-2, PARKERIZED 29-3, HARD CHROME 29-3. Right side top to bottom: 629-2 SATIN STAINLESS, 29 no dash BLUE, 624 "REGULAR" STAINLESS....

I like the satin hard chrome finish.

Finally found a 629 4" that wasn't at a stupid asking price. Should be coming this next week. I sold my last 44 Mag shooter and have felt nekid since.

Damn.

Those all look great but I'd have to say parkerized for the win.

Nickel, 29-2. I say that because I had one growing up. Made the worst trade I ever made with that gun.

Don't like to think about it these days, but I sure did love that old model 29.

Of course all other's mileage may vary.

Wow, an "old dog, new trick" momment for me!

I've never seen camouflage grips like that before.

They were semi-popular in the 1980s, but have been long discontinued by Pachmayr.

The standard blue 4" no dash looks best, but for carry I'd take the regular stainless any time.

I like the nickel finish probably the best but there are none of them that look bad at all.

All are too ugly to choose. Either original wood in an appropriate style or your choice of black or grey rubber for control and durability.

Personally, don't like Pachmayr signature or whatever
those grips are called.

Don't care for the camo paint job either.
Magna grips look good on the 4" N frame as do
other custom jobs.

Agreed, going to leave them only on the parkerized 29-3 "carry" gun. Sticking with S&W factory wood on all these .44 mags:
