The average price on GunBroker for a -3 is about $1300....think of it as an investment.

This one is $699, on the price tag. I have some other expenses coming up so I'll not be snagging it.

G20 is more versatile anyway......

Considering the prices I've been seeing for the past year or so, $700 isn't unreasonable for one in 95% condition.

It seems as if the buying public has finally figured out that the old school S&W's aren't Easter eggs. A new crop doesn't show up every year.

Good point! But I don't want to follow that train of thought very far.

Thinking that way could cause a guy to sell every thing but the MG.

If that were anywhere around me, it would have been drug home if I had to sell plasma or work at chipendales again.....

Yes. I hate staining furniture, but I'd do it for a 3" 66.

I read somewhere, that NYPD used to arm meter maids with the 3 inch model 36. I've owned a couple of the skinny barrel barrel models, and they were a joy to shoot. Always thought a heavy barrel model would be an excellent shooter, too.

Both the wimmins shoot that thing with scary accuracy.

I'd like to find another to give to the kid; she just needs to make up her mind if she's going old school or something a wee bit more conventional.

No comment here either.

One of the best threads going.

A couple of Taurus 44 SPL's. I know some here will faint at the sight of a Taurus but these two are scary accurate and rock solid so far. Great triggers to boot.

I've already been looking at GB. There are a few over there.
