Not talking about major issues in your lives, just everyday things you might employ to take the edge off a less than perfect day. Cold beer, glass of good spirits, cooking something homemade up in a pan with onions, garlic, etc., your kids, dogs, a walk in the woods, what helps smooth the evening out?

Marriage couceling or personal couceling is a great option. Self medicating is not the right solution. Exercise really helps, and having a good pet can take a lot of stress out of your life.

A cold brew is a treat. Exercise if it is more than a minor annoyance. A good run or gym session is my best stress breaker next to the horizontal mambo. wink

Pendleton or a bourbon.

Mostly I like to lay on the couch, headphones on while watching something or listening to music and pet my cat.

Not having to THINK is probably the best stress reducer.

Sex with the spouse. Seriously, it's good for both of you.

Archery is a great stress reliever. Easy to do and one tends to not think about much while doing it.

For starters, not being at work. That's a stress reliever in and of itself.

This time of year, I enjoy watching the birds [and squirrels] at my feeders around the cabin.. even if its sitting in the chair watching them out the windows. I purposely mounted a feeder so no matter where I sit, I can seem them out the window(s.)

Woods walks are nice.

In the spring/summer/fall, I enjoy being on my tractor.

Sitting on my deck with a great cigar and taking the time to enjoy the whole thing with either a good book or my own thoughts.

When I came home from work all worked up I would listen to instrumentals like Moon River. Always seemed to work.

Remember why, specifically, the Bill of Rights was written...remember its purpose. It was written to limit the power of government over the individual.
