Strong and empowered woman who makes the choice that's best for her. Husband eventually comes around and travels across country to see her and win her back, disaster strikes and she's thrust into a position of leadership and doesn't wilt. Husband goes through great sacrifices to support and help her through those times which leads to them walking away, together under the same blanket.

It's got everything a woman wants.
This is my wife's second favorite Christmas movie behind Elf. Great synopsis!

Chick flicks are the best, If your wife gets into the right mood.
Avoid the tear jerkers
"The Church can and should help modern society by tirelessly insisting that the work of women in the home be recognized and respected by all in its irreplaceable value." Apostolic Exhortation On The Family, Pope John Paul II
Not a bad movie, bad guy gets run thru with a sword. Chicks dig it.
I really liked Ladyhawke - Michelle Pfeiffer (rowwrrr!) and Rutger Hauer with a double barrel crossbow, even Matthew Broderick's presence in it didn't hurt the movie overall.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
Watched Interstellar with the wifeypoo last wknd. Scifi, but with a lot of strong emotion and some tear jerking. Hard to control the faucet in a couple of places. We both enjoyed quite a bit. Stanley Kubrick-ish.
