Never handled one. What's the twist? Remington website says 9 twist but the add on most I see for sale says 12 twist. Is the stock a B&C?

Stock is not B&C...its their own injection molded. A 9 twist in the .223 is a good thing.....

I have one of the new SS models in .223 Rem and yes it does have a 1 in 9" twist and no on B&C stock which I am glad of, if it was a B&C it would most likely have the thick wrist like the new Mountain rifle stock's have, a feature I hate as to me it ruins the feel of the rifle...................Hb

I got one of the SS M7's in 223 about a month ago, and have been playing with it some. All I shoot is reloads, so I've been experimenting a little, trying to find some loads it likes. I really like carrying this rifle, as I was looking for something lightweight, but found the trigger absolutely awful. Replaced it with a Timney, although had to do a little gunsmithing to get it to work. I've killed a couple of coyotes with it so far.

Ingwe do you still have the Model 7 .223 Predator? I pick one up the other day for 500.00 nib 9 twist. Curious if you still like it. Any thing to look out for?

Do the new Model 7's have the barcode stamp on the receiver near the serial number?

I replaced the Xmark Trigger, punched it out to AI, replaced the stock with a B&C Alaskan, then tore it off and rasped it more into a Ti configuration, dura-coated the thing, and I shoot the hell out of it...recent pics after all the "improvements" ( aka-cobble jobs )

Love the look, I'm not crazy about the camo but it was a screaming deal.
