Thanks Laker and Wyo, It's a lot of work but he did 99% of it, he enjoys it and you know the satisfaction you get from it. He even put up all the possums, I told him he would probably only get $1 tops for them and he said well that's a dollar and It only takes me a few minutes.

That's a nice batch of fur. If you have never put up your own fur you don't realize the time and work that goes into it. Had a few people that wanted me to skin and put up their coyotes for them for $5-$10. I just laughed Not worth my time for that
Yep $5-$10 isn't enough especially when half the people don't know enough to bring it to you before the belly is green and your skinning cabbage!

That's quite a haul your boy has there Wille....especially the reds....too bad Fox don't fetch any more than they do.....that's the prettiest of all the fur bearers IMO....

Thanks FG, yep the reds are pretty, I always liked finished beaver too, just cool how they turn into an oval "rug".
He really wanted to catch a bobcat this year but it didn't happen, he might need to give you a call for some pointers!

He really wanted to catch a bobcat this year but it didn't happen, he might need to give you a call for some pointers! Best advice I'd give him is to do the exact opposite of what I did this year if he wants to catch a Cat.....

I managed to kill me a big black feral tomcat today. The 50 grain Ballistic Tip from my 22-250 made a lasting impression on him. Bunnies and quail will be a bit safer now.
The last time that bear ate a lawyer he had the runs for 33 days!
