We just moved into a new house this year and I am setting up my reloading set-up. I am considering something different this year and would like some input/ideas. Can anybody recommend either a good bench-mounted press stand or even a free standing press stand for the press? Thanks in advance. I've always mounted mine directly to the bench; but, have seen a few of these in use and would like to try either or both. I'll be running two presses anyway so what the heck.

I use a free standing like the Lee, but I have a 1/4" plate 18"X14" for the top. On the front I have mounted 1 550B in the Lee detachable rails. I also have another 550B and a Square Deal mounted on bases to slide in the rails for quick change. The Lee wood base is not large enough for Dillon bases, so I got some 3/4" plywood and cut my own. they have to be wide enough for the cartridge drop. When 2 are not in use I have them on the side on 1 bolt with wing nut. Quick and simple to change. 550's are lg and sm primers. I really do not need the square Deal, but I have so it is set up this way. Sorry don't know how to post picture. Hope this helps.

I swear by Inline Fabrication's mounts. They make quick change plates as well. Very versatile system:
