Nobody has mention IMO the best cover of all. Bob Dylan's "All Along The Watch Tower" covered by Jimi Hendrix.

Thanks, I liked that. Is "Atlantic City" originally Springsteen?
Anyway, I liked Levon Helm's take on it a lot better.
First heard the song done by Hank 3 and got interested in it.

This was my first thought as well.

"Brand New Cadillac" by the Clash. Not better than the original(s) IMO.

Absolutely, Unequivocally, Positively.

The Man in Black stole that one forever.

I kinda prefer this:

Morgan's cover of JB

Essentially the entire PMJ library tends to be great covers.

Ann and Nancy Wilson's version of Stairway to Heaven in the Kennedy Center tribute to Led Zeppelin was as good as the original.

I believe this was originally an Otis Redding song.

Excellent rendition. I nearly always get choked up towards the end. What a powerhouse singer Ann Wilson is and she had a great night vocally. The stars aligned.

Most people don't really want the truth.

They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.
