Talking with a tech at the Leupold service dept as I'm having an M1 turret installed. He is telling me an M1 needs 5 clicks to equal an MOA change. So I figure 'on the dial' I'll need to move one MOA indicated then add a click for a true MOA move.

Also, he stated that the CDS is 4 clicks per MOA move.

Anyway I'll be doing the Litz tall test anyway.

a quote from Leupold's resources:

Making Precise Elevation And Windage Adjustments
The style of elevation and windage adjustments on Leupold tactical riflescopes varies with specific models. Each, however, is clearly marked in easy to read increments. If, for example, there are four hash marks from zero to (and including) the number one on an adjustment dial, then the value of each increment of adjustment on that dial is 1/4-MOA.
Another example is, if there are 10 hash marks from zero to (and including) the number one, then the value of each adjustment increment is 0.1 milliradian.
The letters found on the windage and elevation dials refer to the direction that the point-of-impact of the bullet is moved when an adjustment is made.

I guess the take away here is check your scope and apply correction as necessary.

Did you do the the vertical test yet?
If so how did it work out?

Were you talking to a Korth tech?
If so call a tech in Beaverton..

At least the tech was honest. My LAST leupold had an M1 that moved poi 3/4" per click. A turret on a loopy is like mud tires on a Prius.

This is great. You come up with it all by yourself?

I have yet to receive the M1 but I've checked 3 scopes this week-end and they range from 0.99 to 1.03 on the tall test. I'll call the Beaverton tech after I test the M1 , should be to me this week.

Highbean, no I did not come up with 'all by myself', the pursuit of knowledge led me to it. Shooting at known distances 're-competition' with sighters, it wasn't necessary to be concerned with accuracy in the graduations of the scope. Field conditions at lasered distances require it.
