Very cool. I wish they'd had some more pics, I've been interested in PT boats ever since the first time I read "They were Expendable".

Maybe they could do a PT-109 re-enactment. IE, let a Jap ship cut it in half. They'd need a Kennedy for a skipper though.

While making a donation to the WWII Museum, my wife and I were fortunate enough to get a private tour all through this PT boat. You would not believe the time and effort that has been expended on this fantastic piece of history. It is going to be quite a show when it finally gets wet. Go see it at the Museum if you get the chance. Great stuff!

One of my CO's was on PT boats during WW2. He was in charge of damage control. Told me they used a mallet and corks to plug holes.
