Imagine all the taxpayer dollars these Heros saved by their handgun control (i.e. Hitting what they were aiming at)? Even so, prayers sent. I can't imagine how killing someone would affect good people like these with young children. No matter how big a dirt bag, that has to weigh on ya.

Article said the family's not eligible for the $2500 crimestopper reward that had been offered....schitt, they should get a bonus on top of it, I would think...saved the state a lot of money.

the guy killed was a vicious animal. I would sleep better after killing him, as long as no one in my family was injured and/or sexually assaulted. I wish things like this made the newspaper every single day until there are no more home invasions. I am also glad the extra shots were fired to make sure the job was done to completion. When/if someone comes into your home and ties you or a family member up, treating them with any kind of decency afterwards is totally inappropriate. They have to die or leave without any genitals. I wouldn't torture anyone myself, unless he raped a family member, but I would not vote to convict anyone that tortured a home invasion criminal. I thank my fellow Mississippian for killing this piece of crap.
