Looking for suggestions for a rifle sling for a new Remington 700 muzzleloader. Suggestions would be appreciated.

I prefer light as possible hence no leather. I have a twenty plus year old Uncle Mikes(Butler Creek) Mountain Sling that is moved from rifle to rifle. The swivels have been permanently sewn on so just one easy sliding adjustment.

Slogan Slings are the best I have seen or used. Best being how they function in the field. To my knowledge no other sling stays on the shoulder better than the Slogan. And unlike other slings can be worn 3 different ways. How do they stay on the shoulder better than other slings? Because they are made of a RUBBER material. And they are VERY durable. Because they are made rubber they have some give and remain more comfortable than other slings. http://www.specialtyoutdoorproducts.com [video:youtube] http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/20...w-slogan-outdoors-ultraflex-rifle-sling/[/video]

If you want one to really grip your shoulder, the "Claw" slings are hard to beat

I have a padded Super Sling on all of my hunting guns. They are cheap, comfortable, and they look nice. I have become used to the thumb strap for my right thumb while hiking. I have both black and camo. I have heard some say they are too short but they work great for me. Super Sling

Why not give some business to one of our own? Highhamhawk (I may be wrong on the spelling) is in our classifieds with his paracord slings. They are very professionally done, and he can make them in a variety of configurations and colors. Look him up. I've got one and highly recommend them.

Same answer that is always the winner when this question is asked, the "Mountain Sling".

If you're happy with a different one, good for you. I wasn't saying there was anything wrong with your your choice, I was just offering another option, and trying to support a member.
