"timberline" will be missed. Hard to believe it's been 5 years since his passing.

I believe "Eremicus" is not the current member "Oeremicus" Eremicus was an older guy from Cali that hunted the Centennials every year for elk. He always posted a running log of the hunt. I don't believe he ever killed anything on those excursions though.

A quick search reveals that he suddenly quit posting a few years ago and has not been online since. I hope everything's alright, but somehow think something bad happened.

Strange for me to wander back into the 'Fire after a long hiatus and find this thread.

Haven't looked around too much yet, but I can see there are a lot of changes.

Heard about Ken H on another forum, but never made it back here to pass on my sympathies. Very sad to see many of the ones I remember have also gone that road.

To the friends and family of those that have passed that may still be online, please accept my sympathies.

Not enough antibiotics made to cure whatever BossHawg was passing out to make that a good idea even if it was someone other than Kat...

Nurse Kat "reached out for help" to me for a couple medical issues back in the day. I was newly divorced but naive... didn't realize I was being invited for "adult fun" until it was glaringly obvious. She was husband-hunting, as far as I know. Miss Lynn got some good intel on Kat, BTW, passed it on to me in time to save me some $$$. Weird schdt.

Speaking of Miss Lynn, she's been around a lot less lately, too. Female members don't hang around here all that long, do they?

Nurse Kat's husband was/is also a member here too. Can't remember his screen name now though. IIRC he was a lawyer.

Sorry to hear about WCB, I knew Brian had quite a few major medical issues and figured he'd sadly not be with us for long but hadn't heard of his passing.

I was trying to figure out who this Nurse Kat was and was clueless until the husband was mentioned and then realized, oh dat crazy beech. As I recall the husband's handle was 280 lover or something like that?

Needone (Sonny) was a good hearted sole and sorely missed.

Loved Sonny's story about his garage burning until it hit a big keg of powder... windows went out, but oxygen was used up so fast it put the fire out instantly...

Boggy Creek Ranger hasn't logged-on in over a month.
I sure do hope he is doing OK. Last I heard he had been dealing with some pretty serious health issues.

Mauser Hunter is another one I haven't seen/read anything from in a while.

I haven't heard IF he quit or passed on.
