I spend time here mostly at this thread but I also keep up with Pam and Dave on Facebook. I will still check in here mostly every day. I just don't spend as much time on the various forums as I used to. This is FAMILY here.

Hmmmm...I guess I'm not one to let the negative posters win...especially on this thread. This is a place I came to when I needed some healing and what ND did that by starting this thread, the deer camp (Chickenbuck) build, the kids, the camaraderie, and just the day to day conversation really helped. I so enjoy Mrs. ND photo essays, NDs adventures, T-zone's boats and deer camps, Grizzly Bill's daily weather reports (RIP), hearing from Ryan, goalie, Rooster, gophergunner, white bear, busch pilot, etc. about whats going on in their lives. There's been very sad loss, birth, and redemption. This thread is like a neighborhood. Everyone is welcome and none of the crap. Life as it should be.
So while the rest of the campfire may be burning itself out, this thread glows brightly. I, for one, will check back often and not let the naysayers prevail. Life is too short to give up. + 1 !! Love this thread, & it's trials & tribulations !
Paul.

I find I enjoy my visits here more if I don't look at political threads, and keep it to hunting and fishing stuff.

Coupla pics from our Northern Minnesota snow boarding trip. The weather didn't suck ! Not bad, for a couple of 50 year olds, eh. Looks like a GREAT trip Paul!

Yeah, it was an awesome season down there ! We bought season passes, this year, so on a per day basis, we had to do more than 5 days each, to get our "moneys worth". We ended up snow boarding for a total of 14 days, over the season & donating a "small fortune" to the MN economy ! PS: Not bad for a couple that are gunna be 50 this year !

Have to say that this is the only thread I check on a daily basis. As you can see I don't post much, just check in and read about what is happening at Camp Chickembuck.
