Looking at MGM barrels in 357 mag. they offer 1-20 and 1-14 twist, pro and cons between the two. I will be shooting 158 or 180 bullets at top vel. the most. Thanks

I think either one will work as well as the other.
Many factory rifles are 1:16

I would much prefer the 1/14. 1/20 is slower than the vast majority of factory .38/.357 firearms and I cannot imagine any advantage to the slow twist. But there could be a disadvantage, especially with heavier/longer bullets.
