Yetti, I saw one of those. It looks like it was designed by someone that works at a nail gun factory. Very functional but no flow of lines at all. I'm sure I couldn't pay what they want for a rifle that looked like that.

Target Grey Ruger No. 1 RSIs with Turkish Walnut. I'd take a brace in .223AI, 6.5 Creed (8-twists) and .45/70.
Hell, make TG original .44 Carbines w Fiberglas and Turkish Walnut, too.
Those would cover Tennessee needs fairly well.

Nosler M48 with a sub $1K price tag.
Kimber 82 rimfires.

Bolt guns with barrels twisted fast enough to shoot all the bullets available in a given caliber.
Decent adjustable triggers on rifles instead of the 6 lb Lawyer triggers

I would love to see a nice slick pump 44 magnum with a tube magazine. Something like a Remington 14 1/2 would be great. Don't even cut the barrel for a rear sight. Just send it standard with a receiver sight. An option to send in your own wood to Ruger to be used on your No. 1 would be nice. No extra charge other than a handling charge. They used to be made, a litle spendy now IMI Timpberwolf 44mag There was the Universal 'Vulcan' also. Not a tube magazine though but still a pump in .44 mag. https://www.gunsamerica.com/952790195/Universal-Vulcan-44-mag-pump-rifle.htm

I would like to see a Dakota model 10 on the shelf so I could compare it to my Ruger No. 1. Dakota 10 from the internet: My Ruger No. 1: The Dakota looks sleeker and lighter, but the Ruger is mine and it's paid for

More high quality 22 rimfire sporters. They would not stay on the shelf if I came through. There is room to build a competitor to the mid priced CZ. Someone could also build a 1000.00, super accurate, 22lr that would compete with Sako's and 64 Annies. Cooper is the closest competitor to Anschutz 54 Sporters. I like Cooper stocks better and Anschutz barreled actions better. Someone could build another production competitor to both but would likely not be good movers on the shelf.

For me the first choice would be a "new" Savage 99 rifle.
With modern manufacturing methods such as CNC machining and machine checkering (which isn't nearly as ugly as it used to be)....I see no reason a "modern" Savage 99 couldn't be produced at a profitable cost. Chambered for the .243, .250-3000, .260, 7mm-08, .308 and .358 it would cover the market needs of most shooters and do so with much more style than the normal plastic stocked, painted offerings on the market today.
As far as the .44 Magnum pump idea.....the Timberwolf came reasonably close. I've owned and shot those rifles and as someone else had no "flow" or "style" worked pretty well.
It would be easy to "fix" by simply copying the old Remington 14/14 1/2. Close the gap between the barrel and magazine tube so it doesn't look like you could store extra ammo in the gap. Trim the buttstock and add a semi-pistol grip to gain the proper "flow". Most of all, tapper the forearm so it doesn't look like you cut a section from a dowl rod and slapped it on the rifle...a steel cap on the end of the forearm would be nice but not nessisary if the arm was properly tapered.
I hate change, it's never for the better.... Grumpy Old Men The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know

Left handed Ruger model 77 International chambered in .257 Roberts. Or any other caliber, for that matter. I'd like to see Weatherby reintroduce the LH MkV Euromark, too.

I'd like to see a good selection of Remington 700 bdl's from the 60's and 70's. I wouldn't mind a few adl's from the same time period.
