Cool stuff. One of my uncles is a Big Cheese at Harvard's Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology. One of his sons entered Harvard at 16-years old and is now a professor there - theoretical physics. The son is one of the pioneers of "String Theory". No surprise to you fellers, my uncle is an in-law and not blood...the brains didn't come from my side of the family <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />.

JOG, wow! I was down the river from Harvard for awhile, got to be around some of those luminaries at seminars and such. Most students in my group wanted to do String Theory, but none of us were allowed to. Too competitive, only the very best make it in that field. One guy was allowed to but he put himself through the program as a tennis pro. Here is one person's educated guess as to what all that 'stuff' is in the video. My wife got most of it correct: http://sparkleberrysprings.com/innerlifeofcell.htmlBlammer, all that stuff in between is artistic license. In reality, all those molecules are jam-packed together in a very viscous soup. The molecular shapes are real though. Alot of what's going on in the video is known at the molecular level.
