My farm got caught up in a wildfire in October and with it went 35 years of reloading equipment. I have not done a lot of reloading the last few years as I just don't have the time. With it went up some uncommon caliber ammo so I will need to replace it. I will not need to replace it all so I thought of a kit like the Hornady Lock n Load Iron press kit. For me a kit makes sense as it is a one stop replacement
I do not have experience with this Hornady package but it seems to fit my needs easily.
What are the thoughts on this or another kit?

Sorry to hear about the fire.

Any kit is a good deal, and Hornady makes good stuff. But all any kit provides is a good deal to build on.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck......I have the hornady 007 with the bushings you screw your dies into. The bushings aren't cheap and once they're on your dies they don't fit back in the case very well. Also if you adjust your dies very often it's a pain in the ass. When you try to back off the lock ring the bushing twists out. I have a rock chucker also and prefer it. I'd go with the rcbs rock chucker kit if you're set on a kit. Better to buy individual pieces on here or on fleabay.

Thanks
I was still dealing with the fire hot spots for five days afterwards then 20" of rain hit to end the drought. My timing is not perfect

I got this RCBS kit for $200 total(including shipping). Then I spent another $100 on extras and got a $50 rebate from RCBS. The same deal is going on.
