Is anyone on the forum familiar with the Caesar Guerini line of O/U shotguns? I am looking for a 20 ga. O/U primarily as a skeet gun. I had just about settled for a Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon II when I decided to see if I could do any better on price from the store I usually deal with. I went to one of his competitors and he quoted me a price on the 687 $200 lower than the store I usually shop at!! But to add insult to injury he showed me the Guerini model comparable to the 687 (the Guerino Tempio) which appeared head and shoulders above the 687 in workmanship and finish. If this gun handles and shoots as good as it looks Beretta has some real competition. Any comments would be appreciated.

A good friend bought one of their "MAGNUS" models in 20 gauge and is extremely pleased with it.

Very well made and highly finished. Not inexpensive, but worth the money. I'm thinking of purchasing one.

I made up my mind and bought the gun today. The dealer is sending it back to Guerini in MD. to have a center bead installed on the rib for skeet. Can't wait to shoot it!! After comparing it again with comparable Berettas I just couldn't pass it up. Thanks for your input gold40.

Blitz,

Good call on the Guerinitheyre the best deal going in a solid shotgun these days. Theyre very popular in my neck of the woods for Sporting Clays shooting and theyre holding up very well. Enjoy.

Yes....they are very good quality guns for the money. They use superb wood on these things.
