well,spring is sure here.
im so plugged up with pollen I cant barely breath. Same deal here. Leaves popping out all over the place. 80 degrees yesterday and today!! I'll take it.

The crappies are spawning in Prior Lake, so the my 14 ft. Lund, the Minnoh will hit the water Friday morning to fill the freezer. Stocked up on some 1/64 oz. jigs. Like I really needed them-I've probably got 3 lbs. of them in the boat all ready. Good Lord willing, the old Evinrude will fire up and I'll be on fish quickly Friday morning, and then off to the restaurant on the lake for an early lunch. Appointment with the heart dr. Friday afternoon, or I'd stay out all day.

spawning? Already? Holy moly, the water temp here is 48 degrees! We are still quite aways from spawning. Good luck Gopher and post some pictures.

The sun has been out and under, and the temp up n down the last few days but it has stayed dry. Just finished planting the last beet field here...a day behind last year.
On to corn tomorrow if it doesn't rain. Weather Gnome has us at 75%.....
We eat organic in our house, we just have to shoot and gut it first.....
